Shilajit
Joint pain is
experienced as a result of disease or injury of the cartilage or neighboring
tissues in the joint area. A joint consists of bones that are joined together
by a muscle that acts as a cushion for the adjacent bones to avoid friction and
thus provides support. Some of the joint conditions include arthritis,
bursitis, osteoarthritis, shoulder dislocation, sports injuries, and sprains
and strains.
Joint pain (Shilajit) occurs when there is an inflammation of the cartilage in the
joint, which causes the pain. Joints are very delicate structures and hence,
they need proper care and attention for a good health condition. The pain is
usually felt in one side of the joint or on both sides of the joint depending
upon the type of joint. In order to cure the pain, you need to find out the
underlying cause and treat it accordingly.
Before we find a
suitable remedy for joint pain, it is important to know what causes it. The
common causes of joint pain include age, genetic condition, muscle imbalance,
pregnancy, and stress. Other causes can be caused due to environmental factors
like sun exposure and high altitude. In cases of environmental causes, you need
to wear protective clothing in the form of a hat and sunglasses during direct
sunlight.
The joint pain is
generally felt on one side of the joint. Common treatment for joint pain
includes taking pain killers and over-the-counter medications.
Pain killers like
acetaminophen and ibuprofen can provide instant relief of pain if taken during
acute pain. These drugs help to reduce inflammation and decrease swelling of
the joint and are also used in other conditions like sprains and strains. It is
important to note that these medications should not be taken for long periods
of time and instead, you can go for non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
(NSAIDs).
Another kind of
medication for pain is the muscle relaxant. Muscle relaxants work by reducing
the activity level of your muscles so that it is easier for them to function
without pain. They also relieve tension and stress from the body muscles. This
reduces the activity level and hence, the intensity of pain. Apart from muscle
relaxants, there are also anti-inflammatory medications like aspirin and
ibuprofen that are used to treat joint pain.
Muscle relaxants do
not completely alleviate the pain but they make the muscles weak enough to
allow the muscles to relax. This is done by increasing blood flow in the
affected areas by means of injection.
While taking these
drugs, you need to follow the dosage exactly as specified on the bottle, and
take it according to the doctor's instructions. If you have any side effects of
muscle relaxants, you need to stop using the drug immediately and consult your
doctor.
There are many natural
remedies for joint pain (Shilajit). However, they are only useful if you know how
to combine different herbal products to create an effective remedy for joint
pain.
You can try some home
remedies like putting rosewood essential oil on a cotton ball and applying it
on the affected area. This will help to relieve the pain as well as it has
antiseptic and antibacterial properties.
Besides these
treatments, you can also try the use of herbs. These include Aloe Vera,
Echinacea and turmeric. These herbal remedies are used to help reduce
inflammation and provide pain relief. If you find them in your local health
store, you can try them out.
These herbs can help
relieve the pain of arthritis patients too. However, since arthritis is a
chronic condition, you need to take these herbs in combination with other
treatments for joint pain to be effective.
